September 30, 2011: 80s DAY
So today at school we had a dress up day (80s day) and I decided to embrace my inner MADONNA! I look really good! Well not that I am full of my self but I really do look good! But at lunch I was super angry because I forgot my lunch in my car and I had to buy my lunch at school. Lets just say that our school lunch isn't very edible..
But anyways I was really angry at lunch! I had to wait in line for almost 30 minutes then as soon as I sit down all of my friends tell me to go on stage. I didn't know why this was but I still went up there. Then I found out that there was a costume contest! Everyone yelled and clapped so I could win! And I did winn!
I felt really super duper cool! (:

In Nu-works we were studying Paul Baker who writes about using space in performances. We got to go to different teachers talking about moving through space, using the space, and filling up space. I think it is important to use space because you can move through space through the art of dance (My outlet of choice), or you can just walk, run, skip or something of that nature though space. You can also fill up a space maybe by drawing on a sheet of paper. Say that the sheet of paper is the space and by drawing on it you are filling up the space, so that is how that works.
Nu-works is a class where we learn about different arts in our school and we learn about technology too.
We combine our arts to make a LOVELY AWESOME MIX OF EPIC PROPORTION!
